Giddy take pride in our expertise in utilising unique materials to create captivating landscapes.
Our recent St Kilda project featured the elegant use of granitic sand, sourced locally from quarries in Victoria. This lends a distinctive Australian aesthetic to walkways and courtyards, providing a rustic yet refined ambiance. This has been enhanced by the use of corten steel edging.
Granitic sand boasts exceptional compaction qualities, ensuring a smooth and durable surface once compacted with specialised equipment. Unlike traditional hardscape paving, granitic sand allows for water drainage, promoting sustainability by preserving water for your garden's nourishment.
Beyond its environmental benefits, granitic sand also offers cost-effectiveness when compared to conventional paving options like blue stone.
We have incorporating Bluestone Steppers as accents to add a touch of sophistication to the landscape, enhancing the overall aesthetic appeal while maintaining a harmonious blend with nature. Whether creating a formal pathway or a tranquil retreat reminiscent of the bush, our team at Giddy Garden Grooming is passionate about crafting outdoor spaces that inspire and delight.
Please note Giddy Garden Grooming was only contracted to complete the walkways at this job. The mulched garden area and planting has been left in the hands of the client.

The Ormond project transformed an overgrown back yard into a functional veggie patch for our clients.
Giddy removed all of the overgrown plants and demolished the tired brick edging, concrete path and built in bench. This clean slate allowed us to create the clients dream veggie patch where they can now plant, relax and enjoy the fruits of their labor.
The corrugated iron garden beds give this space a rustic feel while the natural pine bark mulch provides a soft walkway for people to meander around the veggie beds. These materials have helped keep this project on budget whilst providing a all natural aesthetic.
All of the products we have used are chemical free providing the client with confidence that all the food coming from their garden will be organic and healthy.

This project seamlessly blends sophistication with natural beauty.
Corten steel edging gracefully defines the landscape, adding a contemporary edge. Its warm, weathered tones provide a striking contrast against the vibrant hues of native flora.
Meandering pathways adorned with timeless Blue Stone pavers guide visitors on a journey through lush greenery. Each step reveals the meticulous craftsmanship and attention to detail that define Giddy Garden Grooming's signature style.
Locally sourced Granitic sand forms the foundation of this outdoor space. Renowned for its exceptional compaction qualities, the granitic sand ensures a durable surface, perfect for both leisurely strolls and intimate gatherings.
Complementing the natural landscape, native plants including ‘White Correa’ and ‘Blue Fescue’ thrive in their carefully curated garden beds. This north-facing garden is well-prepared to cope with the sun as we thoroughly ameliorated the soil. We allowed the garden to use the water in its natural environment by avoiding installing irrigation. Our tension wire installation adds a touch of design flair while providing structural support for the ‘Happy Wanderer’, a Native climber with purple blossoms. From graceful grasses to vibrant trees, every plant selection reflects Giddy Garden Grooming's commitment to sustainability and biodiversity.
This Preston paradise is more than just a garden; it's a testament to the seamless integration of art and nature, where every detail harmonises to create an immersive outdoor experience.

The Glen Iris project showcases the installation of turf in a backyard, beautifully framed by timber sleeper edging and retaining walls.
The use of timber sleeper edging and retaining walls serves a practical purpose in defining the boundaries of the space and preventing soil erosion.
To enhance the natural beauty of the landscape, we incorporated native plants in garden beds along the perimeter. These native plants not only thrive in the local climate but also attract local wildlife, creating a vibrant and biodiverse ecosystem right in your backyard.
Our team's meticulous attention to detail ensures that every aspect of the landscaping job is executed with precision and care. From the selection of turf to the placement of native plants, we strive to create a harmonious and sustainable outdoor environment that you can enjoy for years to come.
